CRAU History and Impact: 1. After being around adults, Beverly Marsh has learned to be more trusting of them and in learning to be more trusting of them is more compassionate towards adults than she has ever been, (Bev's always been compassionate with kids.
2. Beverly has discovered that she has a thirst for knowledge that being bullied at school had never given her, and she studies some things at a higher level.
3. Bev quit smoking! Yay
4. Due to having an abundance of tough male figures who handle a teenage girl's trauma by teaching her how to kick ass, Beverly now knows how to use a sword and knife and can fight in both Batman ninja (Jason Todd) and viking (Ubbe and Ivar) styles. She's also been taught how to pick locks and scale buildings (Seregil and Alec, The Nightrunner's Series) shoot a gun to kill walkers (Aaron and Eric, The Walking Dead) and she knows how to cook.
5. Beverly is eighteen months older than in canon, so there are physically some changes as well. She's a little taller and holds herself a little straighter, she is more able to meet people's eyes now. Additionally there is a little golden sphere behind her ear, where she was connected to the Sphere AI in game. While this is entirely inactive now that she's here, it's hardwired into her brain and removing it (at least in the Sphere) would have killed her.
6. Due to the changing nature of RPs like this one, Beverly has a bigger idea of how the multiverse and timelines work. While she still feels some sense of abandonment when people don’t know her, at this point there are some parts of Bev that just accept it as normal. As such she’s going to have a much easier time settling into Deerington and the people here than she otherwise would.

Personality: Beverly is a kid who is entirely fearless (now). Whereas once she was frightened of her abusive father and of it, Beverly has conquered her fears for herself. However, Beverly has always been rather fearless when it comes to protecting other people. When Bev sees the Loser's club in need of help, she doesn't hesitate to help them by distracting the pharmacist by doing something with him that she hates: flirting with him to get the supplies (and smokes). Bev is also the first one of the club to jump into the quarry. More than that, she flat out tells IT that she's not afraid of him. Her fear comes due to her exposure to the Dead Lights more than anything else, and that's how IT is allowed to capture her and hold her hostage, even after her telling him that.

Beverly is perhaps the bravest of the Losers club, and her bravery is combined with compassion.  One of Bev's biggest traits is her compassion, especially towards people who are hurt or are in need of it. After the terrible experience with the girls in her class, it would make sense that Bev would be bitchy and with a fuck everyone attitutde. However, she's still nice and sweet with Ben instead. She also doubles down when she sees the Losers Club needing medical supplies. She doesn't even know it's for him, but still ends up helping the boys anyway. More than that, when the club spots Mike's bike laying on the ground and the bullies have him, Beverly is the one that leads the charge to save him, even when Richie is like "we should leave it alone" Bev still risks alienating her new friends and going after Bowers in order to stop them from hurting and maybe killing Mike as Bowers and his gang are escalating under IT's influence.

When Bill wants to go into the house at Nesibold road, Beverly is the first person who agrees to go in with him, even if it is something that's incredibly stupid to do. She's also the Loser who stands by him and keeps searching for information on IT while the rest of Losers disband and go their separate ways. She wants to stop IT from hurting anymore kids, and while she definitely doesn't want to lose her new found friends, she recognizes that there are things that are more important than just friendship that's going on here.
Despite knowing that, Beverly also suffers from a fair amount of impulsivity. Beverly is often the sort of person who leaps before she looks. She is a person who will follow her heart, and not think things through at all. While her act of helping Mike is an act of bravery, it’s also stupidity. Beverly is angry when she picks up that and she throws it with the intention of actually hitting Henry in the head. After her abusive father touches her hair, Beverly gets angry and upset and she cuts it off while sobbing, because he had touched it. Often her impulsive reactions are combined with violence, for which Beverly has a propensity for it.

When feeling threatened or when angry, Beverly shows an inclination towards violence. She shows it during the rock fight, where once she is called a "fucking bitch" time seems to slow down and Beverly's face shows rage. She then very intentionally hits Henry's friend directly in his face with the rock (and she succeeds). But it's more than that. When Beverly stabs IT in the head with the fire poker, there isn't any hesitation in her. She is trying to kill IT, and Beverly would have succeeded had it not been a supernatural demon. When her father attacks her once more, Beverly fights back, kicking him in both the groin and the head before she kills him. Beverly is someone who has learned through violence with the abuse that she'd suffered at the hands of her father, her bullies and the microaggressions from the other adults in town. While Beverly at her core and her heart is a good, compassionate person, she also doesn't have good coping skills in order to do that in the face of emotion.

That said, while Bev doesn't trust adults and is frightened of them, she's also someone who is aware of how to use who she is, especially in canon. Through the lens of how her father treats her when he's being "nice" Bev learned how to react to adults in order to try and keep them peaceful and calm. This is a sign of her being a survivor of abuse and as much as she hates it, she is good at placating adults. She uses to it to be able to get the supplies for Ben when dealing with the pharmacist to great effect, and much less effect with Mrs. Kaspbrak who throws it back into her face, and lets her know that the rumors about her among the kids in the school have spread to the adults who believe them as well.

Despite everything that has happened in her life, Beverly is still someone who can laugh and make jokes. She's still someone who can find humor and tease with everything going on. She never loses her sense of compassion, bravery or recklessness. Beverly Marsh is a survivor, and has a spirit that not even an alien spider demon can break. At the end of Chapter One, Bev admits what she'd seen, but also promises to come back and fight IT, even knowing the visions of the things that she's seen.
